研究室住宅課題2019-擁壁の上、そして内

大田区上池台は大久保坂、猿坂、稲荷坂などが入り組む閑静な住宅街である。

境界線としての塀や土留めのための擁壁が街並みを形成し、住宅は強く閉じている。敷地は角地に面しており、この場所も上池台の特徴に漏れていない。

都市における街路、塀(擁壁)、庭、外壁のレイヤー＝住宅と街との境界を再構築することで、上池台の新しい街並みのきっかけになるような住宅を提案する。

Located in Ota Ward, Kamiikedai is a tranquil residential area characterized by intertwining slopes such as Okubo-zaka, Saru-zaka, and Inari-zaka.

Boundary walls and retaining walls for terracing shape the townscape, resulting in homes that appear closed off. The plot faces a corner, fitting seamlessly into the distinctive features of Kamiikedai.

By reconstructing the layers of urban streets, walls (retaining walls), gardens, and exterior walls — effectively redefining the boundary between residences and the streets — we propose homes that could serve as catalysts for a new townscape in Kamiikedai.
