長い時間の中で育まれたものは豊かである。単純明快で、強く、美しい。
古来より日本では蔀戸によって風雨、寒さから身を守ってきた。
戸をひゅっと開けると風が抜け、がばっと開くと暑い日差しを避ける庇にもなる。
家と庭、家と都市の間に蔀戸をすべりこませて、角地そのものが豊かな空間になるような生きた家を目指した。
What has been nurtured over a long time is rich. Simple, clear, strong, and beautiful. In Japan, sliding doors have traditionally protected us from the wind, rain, and cold.
When you slide the doors open, the wind flows through; when you slide them shut, they provide shade from the hot sun. By sliding shoji doors between the house and garden, and between the house and the city, we aimed to create a living house where the corner plot itself becomes a rich space.
