研究室住宅課題2021-垂れ屋根の家

街の生活動線である暗渠に面する本敷地。生い茂る緑に連続するように設えられた庭を上から覗くように大きな屋根が垂れ下がる。屋根は視線や日射を遮りつつ、天井面の鉄板がゆらめく緑や光を映し出し、下向きの回転窓は風や音を取り込む。夜間は内部から漏れ出た光が暗渠を照らすことで街の間接照明として機能する。

1枚の大屋根が住人に、街に、豊かさをもたらす。

This property faces a culvert, which serves as a lifeline for urban activities. Designed to seamlessly blend with the lush greenery, the garden is arranged to appear as a continuation of the surrounding foliage, with a large roof hanging overhead as if peering down from above. While the roof shields against sightlines and sunlight, its metal panels reflect the swaying greenery and light from above, while downward-facing rotating windows capture breezes and sounds. At night, light escaping from within illuminates the culvert, serving as indirect lighting for the city.

A single expansive roof brings richness to both residents and the city.
