研究室住宅課題2021-狭小の懐

所狭しと住宅が建ち並ぶ都内の狭小地を舞台とする本住宅。このような狭い敷地における住宅や生活は意識が内へ内へと向きがちである。この住宅はそんな狭小地に「懐」を生み、住人を包む。中に住まうだけでなく、外へ踏み出すきっかけを与える住宅。

This home is set in the narrow confines of Tokyo, where residences crowd together tightly. In such cramped spaces, living tends to turn inward, becoming insular. However, this residence creates a sense of "embracing" within the small plot, enveloping its inhabitants. It not only provides a place to dwell but also encourages stepping out into the world beyond.
